Readers Can (and Should!!) Respond
Come on readers, blogs are supposed to be interactive. Lets have some comments!!
I love it, too! I don't always follow the exercises but they always make me think about different aspects of my writing... or why I am not writing.
Your last post (choosing the path of meaning) was quite timely, too. During the weekend, at a garden party, I was telling someone I had just met what my research was about... which made me realised that it has been a long time since I actually did any research or writing on that topic. I have drifted towards other topics that are easier to get funding and participants for, and also easier to write about. My 'original' topic, on the other hand, is 'fringe' (as you say), which makes it really difficult to find a journal that will publish it. The trick is that I really like that topic. I must make more time to develop that topic.
Thanks for your great response. Not only do you need to make time, but perhaps have more specific goals? See tomorrow's post (an extra weekend one, yeah!)- writing one in response to your response :).
I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks so very much Beatriz. Sometimes, when I hear nothing, a guy gets to wondering! Frankly, a simple affirmation does wonders :)

Hi Ana,
