Since yesterday was international puppy day--every day is puppy day around here--I thought I would share this picture. Here, we see my writing coach, the world famous Squirrel, and Toby da Cat sharing the new collective living room animal-bed. A year ago they could barely be within ten feet of each other. Now, we have have this. The growing connection between the dogs and Toby is a symbol of hope for me, something loving and warm I can turn to on hard days.
